Oxidised small table with collapsible top.
On the table are Renaissance style embossed birds, figurines and masks.
The base of the table is formed like a reed with King Frederik VII’s monogram, as well as figures, birds, bird’s nests, moles, etc.
The table, which is signed ‘Rudolphi, orfévre bijoutier, joaillier de S.M. le Roi de Danemarck, Rue Tronchet 3 á Paris’, was made by the Danish, Paris-based goldsmith J.F. Rudolphi around 1850.
In 1852 the table was displayed at an industries exhibition at Christiansborg riding ground.
